Healdsburg Parks and Rec is ready to start interviewing kids. Below is the info that will be in their recreation guide – it gives the dates/times of the camps. They would like to interview students that can commit to those three weeks as well as some time in May for training. There may be opportunities for other work with our department dependent on interest, experience and availability. Salary will be $9-10.25 per hour DOE.
Here’s the link to the City’s website to access the application:
They suggest you do a hard copy application rather than completing one online. On the application you should specify the job you are applying for is “Recreation Leader – Tech Camp”. The completed applications can be dropped off at the Community Center to the attention of Sonja Drown.
If you have questions don’t hesitate to contact Sonja!

Tech-Play Camps are held at the Community Center where campers will create games that are played with tablets and/or smart phones. The camp will culminate on July 4th at the Children’s Parade and Picnic to be held at the Healdsburg Plaza where campers will showcase what they’ve created for the community. Camps are limited to 16 boys and girls. These camps are made possible due to a collaboration between the Sunrise Rotary Club, Parks & Recreation Department and Healdsburg High School and generous funding from a 2014 Community Benefit Grant. Additional camp details available April 1st at healdsburgparksandrec.org.
